This isn’t such an amazing photo that is has to be shared, but when your ex-husband is still such a good friend that he gives you flowers when it matters… that deserves to be told somewhere, somehow.

Of course, the fact that he and his partner came screaming up the avenue in the ambulance, lights and sirens, handed the flowers to me out the window and then screamed off to their 911 call sort of had an impact also. People on the sidewalk all stopped and stared. I glanced around and realized people in Starbucks were pointing out the window at me and my flowers that seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. Even the dog was like “Uh, Mom? What just happened?” All-in-all it had a huge positive impact on my birthday!
