As you know, T and I have been talking about moving out of the city for a bit. Yesterday I got an email – totally out of the blue – from a recruiter at an IT consulting firm (specializing in the financial services sector of all things) who is extremely interested in my resume in relation to a 1 year project management gig. And where is it? Richmond, Virginia. How crazy is that?
The job sounds right up my alley. Having compared the pay and cost of living between here and there, I’m guessing we’d have a comparable, but MORE RELAXING, standard of living. I’d be doing what I love 40+ hours a week too, which I can’t say about my current job. (I love my freelance work, but not my “real” job.)
Might go nowhere though. Talked with her by phone this afternoon and now I’m just waiting to see what her client thinks of my resume tomorrow. We’ll see…

Good luck with the recruiter. Richmond is a very nice area… and I’m pretty sure there are restaurants that deliver there
