Livable Streets
Posted Friday, February 10th, 2006 by nycgadgetgirlJust when I’ve deleted the Hell’s Kitchen category from the blog for lack of entries… an entry about HK presents itself.
I received an email yesterday from HKNA (the Hell’s Kitchen Neighborhood Association) regarding an exhibit at the Municipal Art Society. It’s called Livable Streets: A New Vision For New York City and it is all about shifting NYC away from being auto-centric toward being pedestrian-centric. If you know me personally, you already know that I could not agree with that idea MORE. So, check it out, especially you New Yorkers.

(The page also contains several other interesting clips re: the traffic problems in the city, particularly HK.)
