My Dog Likes Raisin Bran

Yesterday I bought a box of Raisin Bran for the first time in years. From the time I opened it, Snickers was sniffing around telling me he wanted it. I’m like "you don’t eat cereal!" and he kept saying "I want that," so when I finished, I gave him a bran flake from the box. He liked it so much that I gave him another one. It seemed like a really strange thing for a dog to like.

My dog eats everything. Well, except green olives stuffed with anchovies. Then again, I refuse to share those with her.

5 zahava April 5, 2006 at 1:01 am: So glad to see that someone else beat me to the whole “raisins/grapes are toxic to dogs” thing! Our dog LOVES grapes — we were horrified to learn that even one can cause serious complications. Needless to say, she gets different treats these days…
