One of the things I'm looking at with the puppies is, who gets along with Greta the best. Miss Green is very aggressive and Miss Yellow seems to be the luv. So perhaps the decision is made for us.

I've managed to get my 2y/o Shiba Sumi to do stay pretty reliably. For her, it involved a distinct hand signal different from the others she knows, and a LOT of repetition. I've had to learn to be as consistent as possible to get the reactions I want... it's definitely not easy.

Good job with Secret! If you get her to understand "Stay", please share how you did it. Tikka has learned "sit", "down", "roll over", "shake" and "Bang!" (play dead - she does a VERY dramatic rendition!) But, for "Come" and "Stay", she suddenly goes deaf and everything else in the universe (except me) becomes acutely interesting!
