No mess she just laid on the couch. I came home for lunch walked her and she went right back on the couch with her chew bone, got home from work and found her in the same spot. I am very pleased with her behavior. She is doing great! Cough has subsided for the most part and she is feeling so much better. She seems to adjust easily and is so friendly but yet protective.
