Posted Sunday, August 3rd, 2008 by nycgadgetgirlSorry guys. I’ve tried several times since I got here to write a “now I’m here” kind of post, but my heart just isn’t in it. I will post later, but for now, yes, we’re here safe and sound and trying to settle in.

your heart will get there. We moved to Florida less than a month ago and I have had so many days of what the heck did I do that for. The Inus had a great life before and that was the worst thing. Bear has now calmed down and stopped getting so distressed whenever we leave him at home. I started at UCF yesterday and that helped me. It will just take time especially when you have lived in a city where everthing is close and you feel you belong to its culture. You’ll find that how your dog adapts will affect your adaptation and he will settle quicker than you think.
