I received this email yesterday from Rick and Colleen, who adopted Kaos/Kayla from me a year and a half ago. I wanted to share it because so many of my blog friends helped with rescuing Kayla from Miami Dade Animal Control and taking care of her for six months until she was adopted.

HI EVERYONE RICK HERE. KAYLA IS 3 YEARS OLD! DO YOU BELIEVE IT?? MY WIFE AND I WOULD ONCE AGAIN LIKE TO THANK EVERYBODY INVOLVED IN KAYLA’S LIFE. WE HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH KAYLA, SHE IS A WONDERFUL PART OF OUR FAMILY. SHE SHE IS WELL ADJUSTED TO OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS. DAILY WALKS AND CHASING RABBITS IN THE YARD HAVE KEPT HER HEALTHY AND AT A WEIGHT OF 65 LBS!!

it’s all about the inus (& honorary inus)! i bet that makes all the hard work and worry seem like a small price to pay. she’s getting the wonderful life she deserves thanks to you.
I had a lot of help. She’s a great dog and I’m so glad she got the chance to be part of a family. It was definitely worth it.
Kaos/Kayla was my first rescue. I spent a lot of time/money/energy/emotion on rescue since then and it’s ALL been worth it!

I was just wondering, a few days ago, if you’d heard from her new people recently. I’m glad that she’s doing so well and finally has the life she deserves.
