I received a welcome and gratifying email today. Kayla (the doggy formerly known as Kaos) has been with Rick and Colleen for over a year now. Almost a year and a half after Kaos landed in the Miami Dade shelter, Benedict finally called. He didn’t call me, so I wasn’t able to ask him what the hell happened to him. So… Kaos has been living in a boarding kennel for months now. My sister has graciously been paying for it, but at $13.50 per day, there is just no way to keep it up.
