Monitoring, Maintenance, and Tech Support
I’ve been working with entrepreneurs and small business owners for years, creating websites, web-based applications, and strategies for online success. Inevitably, my clients ask me for help with their computers, servers, local area networking, and desktop applications. In 2006, I added technical support (for my local NYC clients) to my freelance services. Additionally, In 2009, I added remote monitoring and management of desktops and servers to my available services and I now have long distance, as well as local, tech support clients.
For Both Local and Long Distance Clients
- 24/7 remote monitoring of desktops and servers
- anti-virus software and regular virus definition updates
- Windows patch management (automatic installation of required patches)
- ability to connect remotely for troubleshooting and support
For Local (Manhattan and northern New Jersey) Clients Only
- on site hardware and software set up, repair and assistance
- on site hardware and software training
A Few Details
Monitoring, virus protection and updates are provided on a retainer basis per machine per month (prepaid monthly). The minimum number of computers for service is three. Support requests may be submitted via the Help Desk. Extended telephone or on-site support is charged by the hour. I also provide telephone and on-site support for clients who do not pay for monitoring and updates, but the hourly cost is substantially higher.
