I really enjoy developing sites to help people communicate their mission and meet their goals. I develop user-friendly websites and blogs for individuals, entrepreneurs, small businesses, and non-profit organizations.

While planning a site for a client, I focus primarily on information architecture and usability. I am not a fan of splash pages, complicated layouts, or superfluous graphic components. Visitors should be able to easily navigate and understand the content of your site. Additionally, you should understand how your site works and be able to update it if you wish! I teach my clients how to update their sites so they aren’t stuck with a site that is immediately decreasing in value as it ages.

I’ve created the majority of my clients’ sites in WordPress for the past few years. WordPress isn’t just for blogging; it has evolved into much more. Using a content management system (CMS) like WP makes content changes much easier for site owners. There are also useful tools for search engine optimization (SEO) and visitor tracking in WordPress.

I have a great team of subcontractors to call on, which gives me an extensive "tool box" of solutions for my clients’ needs. We’ve worked on many sites together and, between us, we have extensive expertise in designing and implementing sites and blogs in WordPress, Joomla, X-Cart and customized database-driven applications (using PHP & MySQL on Apache).

I try to ensure that each site I help create is a reflection of the client and not of me or my subcontractors. When you browse through my clients’ sites, the only recurring theme should be ease of use and navigation.
