Photo Gallery
I still have work to do on the blog, but tonight I finished one of the last major painful pieces of getting everything back online. I installed Gallery on the new server and got it set up the way I want.
It’s a newer version, so I had to rewrite my theme and then, of course, I had to get my photos into it similar to how I had them before. That part is done. I have a ton of NEW photos that I’d like to get uploaded eventually. In the meantime, here what’s done.
Love the gallery! But why is it a major painful piece?
Glad you like it. It was painful mostly because REinstalling Gallery and REformatting my theme and REuploading my photos, and REsetting all the dates on the ones that weren’t dated was not my idea of a fun Saturday night.
I’m not one to ever be happy with something the way it comes out of the box (except for my breakfast cereal, of course), so there was a lot of customization that had to be done before I was satisfied.
Oh! No wonder it was so painful. Hehe. But it looks good, so the work was worth it, I hope! =)
