Web Site Development

My main focus is on information architecture and usability for the web and I am not a fan of splash pages, complicated layouts, or superfluous graphic components. Visitors should be able to easily navigate and understand the content of your site.

Whether an individual or organization is already established in the “real” world and expanding to the Internet, or is starting a brand new Internet-based business, it takes more than a new “dotcom” domain name and some graphics to create success. A web site can’t make your business something it isn’t, but a well-implemented Internet presence can complement your existing strategy. When it comes to your web site, don’t get caught up in techno-jargon and buzz words; think of it like you would think of any other business tool and make sound business decisions that support your overall strategy. Above all, your website should help you accomplish a specific goal.

I have a great team of subcontractors to call on, which gives me an extensive “tool box” of solutions for my clients’ needs. Between us, we have extensive expertise in designing and implementing sites in WordPress, Joomla, X-Cart and customized database-driven applications (using PHP & MySQL on Apache).
